This work is inspired by George Orwell's excellent book "1984". For those who haven't read it yet, it's about a fascist totillitarian police state where even your thoughts are monitored. I also got inspiration from today's society and no i'm not getting into a political debate about the state of the world today.
Anyway the work was modelled in Max and rendered with V-ray with GI enabled. The pistol is based on the Heckler & Koch P7 series of pistols. Though this one in particular is heavily modified to fire nanite "controller" rounds. A very nasty device that enables nanobots to take over a victims body. This particular pistol has been modified to corrupt circuitry on the police state's vehicles and infrastructure.
The work took about 15 hours all up and 18 minutes to render.
Crits & comments welcome.
